FALCON UNCOVERED
Dan has been with us from the very beginning, when the idea of founding a new Klatovy club was born. Back then, Falcon resembled nothing - neither a construction site nor a grenade hole - but a pure utopia.
What do you do for Falcon?
I'm in charge of the live music production and I'm in charge of the bar, so if your favourite bottle of booze or plum cider isn't there, it's my fault. .
What does Falcon mean to you?
New hope for people who have given up on culture in Klatovy.
What is your motivation to work for Falcon - even in the evening and even for free?
Every time, when everything is getting too much and you start to be a bit negative, it gives me strength to stand in front of the stage in the evening, listen to a great band and look around - I see a full club of people having a good time and happy that we are doing this for them.
What do you think Falcon offers people that makes it unique?
The Falcon offers a wide range of events from concerts, theatre, interesting lectures, Christmas parties to painting exhibitions and many other events. What makes it unique is that all of us who work for Falcon make almost no income from it and do it purely for the love of culture and people. It's also because there are a whole bunch of people in that bunch of us who are very different, and that's what makes Falcon's program so unique and varied.
What do you always like to go to the Falcon for?
For every live production.
Which of the performers who have not been in the club yet would you invite to Falcon?
From the Czech scene I have been tempted to organize a concert for a long time Mňága and Žďorp, ELEKTRÏCK MANN, The Unholy Preachers, Hentai Corporation, The Gangnails, THRASHSURF, Queens of Everything, Prague Conspiracy, Vanessa, Maligmant Tumor, Moimir Papalescu, Krouzmen (Official), Twisted Rod and many others. From foreign IRON REAGAN, DUNE RATS, Hed PE, Acidez, Ho99o9, Moscow Death Brigade or maybe Eagles Of Death Metalbut now I think I'm gonna let my appetite go.
What are you most looking forward to now?
For summers in a camper van, concerts, festivals, holidays with my girlfriend and a trip to Brno.
What's guaranteed to make you the happiest?
Full concert hall. When my favorite foreign band announces a concert in the Czech Republic. Fifteenth of the month. A well-traveled turn on a motorcycle.
What can't you live without?
No friends, no my beloved, no music.
